The Sister City Scholarship strives to encourage the pursuit of higher education for underserved youth and foster community ties and involvement within and between our two cities.

Criteria:
- Female
- Citizen Status: Gambian
- Eligible High School Student or enrolled college student
- Local Community Volunteer (minimum 25 hours within the last year)
- Academic Achievement Positioning System
- Financial Need

- American International University West Africa (AIUWA) School of Nursing
- The School for Enrolled Community Health Nurses and Midwives
- The School for Enrolled Nurses, located in the Central River Region of The Gambia
- Sami Institute of Nursing and Health Sciences
- University of The Gambia Postgraduate Diplomas Nursing Program
