4DSci Podcast Guest Participation Agreement
This Agreement is made between 4DSci Podcast ("Producer") and the undersigned guest ("Guest"). By signing, Guest agrees to participate in a recorded audio and or video interview for the 4DSci Podcast and grants the rights outlined below.
1. Consent to Record and Use
Guest grants Producer permission to record Guest’s voice, image, and likeness, and to edit, publish, and distribute the recording in full or in part. This includes use in podcast episodes, clips, transcripts, promotional materials, and related content.
2. Ownership and License
All recordings and resulting materials are the sole property of Producer. Guest grants Producer a perpetual, worldwide, non revocable license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display the recording in any media now known or later developed.
3. Editorial Integrity
Producer retains full editorial control. Producer agrees not to edit the recording in a manner that materially misrepresents Guest’s statements or intended meaning.
4. Promotional and Advertising Use
Producer may use excerpts of the recording to promote the episode, the podcast, or related projects, including trailers, social media, and episode pages. Producer will not use Guest’s voice or likeness in paid advertising created by Producer specifically endorsing a sponsor without Guest’s prior approval, which will not be unreasonably withheld.
Guest understands that the podcast may be distributed on third party platforms that include advertising or promotion beyond Producer’s control, and this Agreement does not restrict such platform level advertising.
5. No Synthetic or AI Generated Representation
Producer will not use Guest’s voice or likeness to create synthetic or AI generated content intended to imitate Guest, except for standard production purposes such as editing, transcription, captioning, or audio cleanup.
6. Voluntary Participation and No Compensation
Guest participates voluntarily and understands that no payment or financial compensation is provided. Guest’s participation is offered and accepted freely.
7. Guest Responsibility and Privacy
Guest agrees to share only information they are comfortable making public and affirms they have the right to share their statements. If private personal information is inadvertently included in the final recording, Producer will remove that portion upon reasonable request.
8. Release of Liability
Guest releases and holds harmless Producer from claims arising from Guest’s voluntary participation, except in cases of intentional misconduct by Producer.
9. Revocation
Guest may revoke this Agreement at any time before recording begins. After recording, this Agreement remains in effect, and Producer may use and distribute the recording as described.
10. Entire Agreement
This Agreement represents the complete understanding between Guest and Producer and applies only to participation in the 4DSci Podcast.
