Williams River Holiday Park

The Swim In will be hosted at the Williams River Holiday Park located at Clarence Town. All bookings made by Swim In participants are done so at their discretion and cost. Participants agree to abide by Event and Park Rules at all times.

Will you use an amphibious vehicle?

Will the vehicle be used on land and/ or water?
Waterways boating regulations in NSW prioritise safety through mandatory lifejacket carriage, adherence to speed limits and strict no alcohol limit for drivers.

All amphibious vehicles that enter the water must comply with NSW Boating Regulations, including registration as a vessel and must have the appropriate and required safety equipment for passengers.

Whilst it is not compulsory, participants are strongly encouraged to have in place current 3rd party and comprehensive insurance.
Participants that are unable to comply with these requirements do so at their own risk and hereby indemnify Taskforce Veteran of any and all liability.

Taskforce Veteran accepts NO liability for the loss, damage or claim that may result out of any and all liability as a result of negligence of the owner of the vehicle either road or land based operations.

All vehicles used during the event MUST be operated by a licence holder with the required endorsement for the class of vehicle.

Any breach of these conditions may result in you/ your vehicle being removed from the event in the best interest of ensuring your safety and the safety of the general public and other participants.

Disclaimer & Participant Declaration
- All attendees, enthusiasts, drivers, riders, passengers, volunteers, and any group attending the Clarence Town Swim In ('Event Participants') as individuals or other who may enter and participate in both organised activities controlled by Taskforce Veteran and other unregulated, ad hoc activities during the Clarence Town Swim In ('Event') do solely at their risk.
- Taskforce Veteran will take all appropriate and reasonable steps to manage risks and safety for all the activities it controls.
- Taskforce Veteran provides guidance to all event participants in the need to exercise care, observe relevant regulations and NSW Laws regarding the use of vehicles on NSW roads and in water ways.
- Taskforce Veteran does not monitor all ad hoc activities that occur during the duration of the event including amphibious operations on the water.
- Taskforce Veteran, its members, officers, volunteers, council, sponsors, promoters and suppliers accept no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury suffered by an 'event participant' or other party howsoever arising from negligence, contractual breach, act or omission of an individual.
I acknowledge that it my responsibility to ensure compliance with such safety plans by myself and my guests, and to follow the reasonable direction of Taskforce Veteran and/ or other appointed safety marshalls.
