  • At a Glance

    Role: Accessibility Manager

    Reports to: Accessible Events Company Director & Operations Manager, Event Operations Manager, Event Site Manager / Accessibility Lead

    What you’ll do: Lead the delivery of accessibility services at events, ensuring venues, facilities, and event experiences are inclusive and accessible for d/Deaf, Disabled, and Neurodivergent attendees. You will oversee on-site accessibility operations, manage accessibility staff and volunteers, and serve as the main point of contact for accessibility provision during the event.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Overseeing accessibility services across the event site
    • Coordinating accessibility facilities and provisions
    • Managing accessibility staff and volunteers
    • Liaising with organisers, contractors, and event teams
    • Responding to accessibility enquiries and supporting attendees

    Who this role suits: Experienced event professionals with strong knowledge of accessibility practices who are confident leading teams and managing accessibility services in fast-paced live event environments.

    Working environment: Primarily onsite at festivals and live events, which may involve long shifts, weekend work, and varied weather conditions.

  • Accessibility Assistant Job Description

    Role: Accessibility Assistant 

    Reports to: Accessibility Manager

    What you’ll do: Support the Accessibility Manager in delivering accessibility services at events. The role involves helping coordinate accessibility facilities, supporting volunteers, assisting with attendee enquiries, and ensuring accessibility services run smoothly across the event site.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Supporting the setup and operation of accessibility services
    • Assisting with coordination of accessibility facilities and signage
    • Supporting volunteers and accessibility staff
    • Assisting with accessibility enquiries and attendee support
    • Helping monitor accessibility facilities across the site

    Who this role suits: Individuals with experience in live events or accessibility services who are organised, proactive, and comfortable supporting team coordination in busy event environments.

     Working environment: Primarily onsite at festivals and live events, which may involve long shifts, weekend work, and varied weather conditions.

  • Onsite Accessibility Administrative Support Role

    Role: Onsite Accessibility Office Support

    Reports to: Accessibility Manager / Assistant Accessibility Manager

    What you’ll do: Provide frontline customer support for attendees with access requirements. The role involves welcoming customers, checking access applications, issuing access wristbands, providing site information, and supporting the accessibility team with enquiries at the Accessible Box Office or Accessible Campsite Office.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Welcoming attendees and providing accessibility information
    • Checking access applications and issuing access wristbands
    • Supporting attendees with queries in person, by email, or by phone
    • Assisting the accessibility team with administrative tasks
    • Supporting event box office teams with accessibility enquiries

    Who this role suits: Friendly, organised individuals with strong communication and IT skills who are comfortable supporting customers and managing enquiries in busy event environments.

    Working environment: Primarily based in a box office cabin, office space, or tent located at the accessible entrance or within the accessible campsite at festivals or live events.

  • Most of our events take place between May and September. The length of each job can vary, with some requiring teams to be onsite for up to two weeks or more.

    Many live events run over weekends, with setup days typically taking place midweek. Working hours can be long, and roles may be physically and mentally demanding, depending on factors such as event size and weather conditions.

    Many of our roles take place in live event environments, which can be physically and mentally demanding. Depending on the event, the role may involve:

    • Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
    • Long shifts, including early mornings, evenings or weekends
    • Spending extended periods standing, walking, or moving around large event sites
    • Working in busy, crowded and sometimes noisy environments
    • Responding to situations quickly and supporting attendees in a fast-paced setting

    These tasks reflect the essential nature of working at live events.
