Fun Day Registration – Glenrose Farms
Hello! We will be hosting a Fun Day for sheepdog handlers of all levels on April 18th and 19th, 2026, at Glenrose Farms, located in Newport VA, in conjunction with the VBCA. Unfortunately, this is not an instinct test. In the spirit of a fun day and club event, the format will be flexible, with people rotating in and out, as opposed to "renting the field" for an allotted time. Setout will not be provided but you are more than welcome to hold out for each other. Dog Levels: Large field: must be working successfully at Novice-Novice level or higher to work on my 10.5 ac trial field. Small area: must be able to work on your own in a 100x100 ft field. Sheep will be Dorset ewes. Cost is $20 per person per day, 2 dogs per person. Multiple runs as time allows. 3rd dogs welcome as time allows. Time limit will be 12 minutes per dog, if attendance warrants time limits. Lunch will be available for a $5 donation. Lunch will be available for a $5 donation. Jolene Ernst, LVT, CCAT Student, may be joining us to provide PEMF and massage for your dogs. Laser is available with a completed referral form from your vet so please plan ahead. Preregistration is preferred for all services requested.
