Please note that the registration form includes an assesment section for all students except those registering for the Twinkle track. Before you fill out this form, we recommend that you contact your private teacher and ask them to assess your student's ability on a scale of 1-5 in the areas of note reading (Alpha students only), sight-reading, playing confidence, rhythm, intonation, technique, playing in 3rd position, and playing in 5th position.

At the end of this registration form you may pay either the $45 non-refundable deposit or the entire registration fee online (either by Paypal or credit card).

Teachers will receive an email notifying them that their student has signed up for OCMS and giving them more information so they can help the student prepare. 

I understand that every effort will be made to contact parents/guardians of campers in the event of an emergency. If I am unable to be contacted, I hereby give my permission for any medical attention which, in case of accident or injury, might be deemed necessary during camp.

Student

I will respect the property, privacy, and rights of others, whether associated or not associated with OCMS String Camp. I will obey the rules and submit to the authority of OCMS String Camp staff and faculty.

Parent

I, as parent/legal guardian of a student attending the Orion Chamber Music Society String Camp at First Baptist Church of Troy during summer 2026, do hereby give my permission for his/her attendance, and further: I agree to hold the Orion Chamber Music Society String Camp, the owners and lessees of any premises used to conduct classes or activities, their sanctioning institutions, agents, officers, directors, and employees harmless and indemnify them from any injury, loss, damage, or claim of any nature arising out of or related to my child's participation in the classes and activities of OCMS String Camp, specifically including any negligent act or omission of the above on the part of my student. I have read and agree with all of the above, and I support the OCMS String Camp in its endeavor to provide the best possible learning environment for every student.

Please select the fees you will be paying now. If you are signing up multiple children and are eligible for the fourth child discount, or are eligible for the referral discount, please only pay the deposit amount. Deposit is non-refundable in the event that a student must withdraw. Balance of payment is due on the first day of camp.
