  • Led by Kat + Nate from MoBo Bicycle Co-op

    Explore mechanical braking systems to strengthen your stopping power. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how cables, levers, pads, and calipers work together to stop wheels reliably. Participants will practice replacing cables and pads and adjusting multiple types of rim brakes.

    Bikes from the co-op’s collection will be used for this workshop; participants should not bring their own bikes.

    Space is limited to 12 participants.

  • Volunteering at a Pop-Up Bike Shops

    Pop-Up Bike Shops support communities with free bike repair, safety checks, and education.

  • Volunteering for the MoBo Annual Plant and Bike Sale

    We work with volunteers to get bikes ready for the Annual Plant and Bike Sale. Volunteer mechanics help prepare bikes to be ride-ready, including tune-ups, safety checks, and completing thorough test rides.
