Cat/Small Animal & Event Volunteers Only (Dog Volunteer Training is a Different Class and NOT available at this time)

Please note that you must be available for training during the following times in order to participate in the program. There will be NO exceptions. DO NOT apply unless you absolutely know you have the dates free. Please DO NOT ASK for an exception. You will be disqualified from the program.

Saturday March 7, 2026 9am-5pm (Cat/Small Animal & Event Volunteers)

Sunday March 8, 2026 9am-5pm (Cat/Small Volunteers)

Wednesday March 10, 2026 6-8pm (Cat/Small Volunteers)

Thursday March 11, 2026 6-8pm (Cat/Small Volunteers)

Saturday March 14, 2026 10am-1pm

Please note that all applicants are subject to a background check. Those with criminal history may not be accepted to the program. Once your application is reviewed we will contact you to confirm your attendance at training.

There is a limited number of volunteer slots available and all who apply may not make it into the 2026 class due to space constraints. There is a $65.00 non-refundable fee due via credit card prior to training. Should you be accepted to the 2026 class we will send you a link to pay via credit card. This will provide you with a STARS Hoodie and T-Shirt.

Volunteers are committed to one scheduled shift per week of 2hrs.

All new volunteers will be cross-trained on how to work events.
