• Adult Volunteer Opportunities at

    August Camporee

     

    Adults may volunteer for one session:

    AM Session: 8:30 AM–1:00 PM
    PM Session: 1:00 PM–5:30 PM

    If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the Jotform and select your session choice and the activity you want to lead.

    Available Volunteer Activities

    Crafting
    Friendship Beads
    Boondoggles
    Woven Turtles
    Sun Catchers
     

    Field Games
    Water Relay Race
    Balloon Toss

    Slingshots - Certification or equivalent experience required 

    Additonal Activities
    Small Craft - Certification or equivalent experience required

    Small Craft Station - no certification required.  


    Archery - Certification or equivalent experience required 

    Archery Station - no certification required.

    Other Volunteer Needs
    Advanced First Aider - Certification required: EMT, Nurse, First Responder.  
    Lunch support staff
    Volunteer support - Provide breaks for volunteers and staff.

     

    Volunteers will be contacted after camporee registration closes to confirm their assigned activity. Additional scheduling details will be provided at that time.

    Volunteers must attend the entire duration of their selected session to receive the adjusted registration price, which will be issued by GSMISTS after Camporee concludes.

  • Volunteer during a morning or afternoon session at Camporee, you do not have to register to volunteer. Volunteers will be provided lunch, a camporee patch, and a program volunteer pin.

  • Please note: If you wish to participate to volunteer and have fun, volunteer for the session that your troop is not registered for or make sure your troop is in ratio.

    Volunteer during a morning or afternoon session at Camporee and you will receive an adjusted registration price from GSMISTS. Choose a session that works with your schedule and enjoy the other half of the day with your troop. Volunteers will be provided lunch, a camporee patch, and a program volunteer pin.
