AHYA Community Connect Program - Parental Consent
Program Overview
The Arabian Horse Youth Association (AHYA) is launching a Community Connect Program hosted via the Band app, a private, moderated digital space where youth members across the country can connect, share their love of Arabian horses, and build positive, supportive friendships. Participation in this program is entirely optional and limited to youth ages 13+ with parental/guardian consent. The group will be monitored by two or more SafeSport-trained adult moderators, and 1:1 messaging will be disabled.

I give permission for my child to participate in the AHYA Community Connect Program hosted on the Band app.I understand that this group is supervised by SafeSport-trained adult moderators, and that all activity is subject to monitoring.I understand that 1:1 private messaging will be disabled, and that the group will follow "two-deep" digital supervision standards aligned with SafeSport guidelines.I understand that my child's phone number will not be visible to other participants.I have reviewed the group rules with my child and agree to help them comply with the digital Code of Conduct.I understand that participation may be suspended or revoked at any time if group rules are not followed.
I grant permission for AHYA to use my child's submitted photos, written content, or shared media from the group for promotional or educational purposes, without identifying personal information.I do not give permission for my child's content to be used by AHYA for any public-facing material.
I understand that although reasonable precautions will be taken, AHYA and its affiliates are not liable for unauthorized disclosures, misconduct by other users, or third-party platform misuse beyond their control.I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Arabian Horse Youth Association, Arabian Horse Association, its officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from my child's participation in the AHYA Community Connect Program.I acknowledge that the Band app is a third-party platform with its own privacy policies and terms of use, which I am responsible for reviewing.I understand and consent to my child's digital activity within the group being subject to monitoring and documentation.I agree that this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
