Bart n Print Rising Star Award Critieria
- Rising Star Nominations form must be submitted no later than 5.00pm 30 June to be eligible.
- All clubs put forward 2 nominations from which fit the criteria of a “rising star”.
- These players must be under 19 years of age as of the 1st of January in the current season
- FOOTBALL ELIGIBILITY: They must have played no more than 10 Senior games of football prior to the commencement of the current season season.
- NETBALL ELIGIBILITY: They must have played no more than 10 A Grade games of netball prior to the commencement of the current season.
- 18 players will be recognised (clubs to nominate 2 players each) as nominees and will be featured (2 per week) in the football guide on a weekly basis from round 10 through to Week 1 of finals.
- All nominations must be accompanied by text describing the achievements of the nominated players and the reason they have been nominated, along with a photo.
- A selection panel will then determine the 6 finalists and the eventual winner, who will be presented with the award on Michelsen/Thompson Medal Ceremony.
- The aim of this award is to recognise our future champions and to promote their achievements.
