The Women of AT&T Pacific Northwest (WOA-PNW) supports professional and personal development to foster continuous growth, advancement, and success through education, mentoring, and community involvement.
In support of this mission, the WOA-PNW Scholarship Program recognizes and invests in students who demonstrate leadership and a strong commitment to serving their communities while pursuing higher education. The program awards scholarships each year to deserving students who are attending, or will be attending, an accredited institution of higher learning.
WOA-PNW will award between $4000 and $8000 in scholarships in 2026. Individual scholarships can range between $1000 to $2500.
One scholarship named in memory of our WOA member Laura Pickens will be awarded to a student who has overcome a tough challenge. Hardship does not have to be financial, it can be in any area (e.g. financial, academic, social, domestic etc.)
The same application will be used to award all scholarships. However, if a student has overcome hardship and wants to be considered for the Laura Pickens scholarship those details will need to be provided in the relevant essay question.
Awards may be used toward tuition, books, supplies, and room/board expenses. Awards will be paid directly to the institution and are not allowed to be paid directly to students.
