WW 2026: How to Do a Test Ride
  • How to Do a Test Ride

    Thursday, April 19 | 2:00–4:00 PM
  • You’ve assessed the problems and completed the service—but how do you know a bike is truly ready to ride? In this workshop, we’ll practice performing thorough test rides to catch issues before handing bikes off. We’ll discuss what to look for on a test ride, common creaks and wiggles, and how to leave a bike better than you found it.

This workshop will meet at MoBo and include a group ride along the Mill Creek. Participants will ride co-op bikes they work on during the workshop; you do not need to bring your own bicycle. Registration is required, and insurance is available through Queen City Bike. Helmets will be required for the ride.

Participation is limited to 12 people. This workshop is a great fit for those interested in volunteering at Pop-Up Bike Shops, MoBo Open Shop, and the Annual Plant and Bike Sale on May 9.
