CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR INTEREST SESSIONS

July 12-14, 2026

Alabama ACDA members are invited to submit session proposals for the 2026 Summer Conference, to be held at the Moody Music Building on the campus of The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa on July 12-14, 2026.

The interest session should address issues related to choral performance, choral pedagogy, or choral education. It may reflect various topics including, but not limited to, classroom management, course content, teaching methodology, choral style, cultural diversity, choral literature, and various performance genres.

The Conference Planning Committee will be guided in the selection process by the following criteria:

1. Quality of the written summary (objectives and organization)

2. Importance and timeliness of the topic

3. Practical applicability

4. Overall program balance
