    This market is supported by the non-profit the Downtown Wallaceburg BIA. An organization funded and run by local business and building owners. 

    This market is managed by an amazing group of dedicated volunteers with support from the BIA's Executive Director. 

    The goal of this market is;

    1. To bring fresh, local groceries to the Wallaceburg area

    2. Support our local farmers' and artisans

    3. Highlight and support our downtown businesses

     

     Please Note

    We give preference to vendors that

    1. Are farmers/grow their own product

    2. Those who are Chatham-Kent local

    We do not accept re-sellers, brand reps, or fundraisers.

    Location: Half of Municipal Parking Lot D/ 708 James Street, Downtown Wallaceburg (Beside RBC Bank 552 James St, Wallaceburg, ON N8A 2N9)

    Every other Saturday (10 Dates): 

    June 6th, 20th

    July 4th, 18th

    August 1st, 15th, 29th

    September 12th, 26th

    October  10th

    Time: 8 am - 12 pm

    Set-up: 7 - 7:40 am

    Vendor Fee: $30 per 10 x 10 spot per market*

    Tent/ Canopy Required

    Tent rental: $20.00* per market, as quantities last

     

    Approval criteria includes:

    1. A complete Application

    2.  Photos of your products submitted (minimum 3)

    3. Public Health Approval (Separate food vendor form to be submitted to the market committee)

    Farmers' Market Committee Communication:

    1. Each market must meet the requirement of 60% farm vendors to be considered a genuine farmers' market. This may limit the number of artisans accepted for certain dates.

    2. Once the form is submitted the committee will communicate with you via our email wallaceburgfarmersmarket@gmail.com

    *An invoice will be emailed once vendor is approved

    The Market reserves the right to re-categorize your request based on your application. Approval may be granted to all or a portion of the goods applied for in order to offer the optimum product line at the Market.

  • 3. My meat is processed by an inspected abattoir or butcher (A copy of the meat processing invoice is required prior to committee approval)
  • 4. My eggs are graded (If selling eggs or using them in baking they must be graded for the market)
  • 5. My baking/canning/food preparation is done in a commercial kitchen (A copy of inspection is required prior to approval)
  • 6. What do you use to produce your jams/pickles/sauces
  • 7. My crafts are 100% made by me
  • 8.  Please submit below a minimum of 3 images of your products. (Select Image -> choose file -> select "upload icon")

  • Market Day Set-Up Information

  • Please check the dates you would like to attend. The volunteer committee reserves the right to approve some or all of the dates requested.
  • Booth Spaces’ Required:   ($30/booth space) 1 Space = 10 x 10 ft area*

    An invoice reflecting the booth space(s) and tent rental(s) approved for each market date will be issued via email when the application is approved by the Market Committee.

     

    Payment Due Date

    Payment for your first market date is due upon recieving your invoice. If possible, please pay for all the dates approved for.

    Market Cancelation Refund Policy

     

     

    Vendor withdrawal from a market date(s)

    To receive a refund for a market you can no longer attend you must give 14 days notice prior to that market. Exceptions may be made for extenuating circumstances.

    b) Print and take a picture and send to the above email.
