Licensing Information – Vendor Waitlist (2026)
This information is provided for advance awareness only and applies only if a vendor is selected from the waitlist and confirmed for participation.
If selected, it is the vendor’s responsibility to secure and maintain all required licenses, permits, and certifications necessary to operate in the State of South Carolina and the City of North Charleston. This may include, but is not limited to, a business license, retail license, and any applicable plant or nursery certifications.
Plant vendors may be required to hold a Clemson Department of Plant Industry Nursery or Dealer Certificate or the equivalent license from their home state. Vendors from out of state must provide appropriate documentation demonstrating compliance with their state’s licensing requirements.
If your state does not require a nursery or dealer license, documentation stating that no license is required must be submitted if selected.
Vendors are also responsible for ensuring compliance with all South Carolina tax laws, including sales tax collection and reporting. SE Rare Plant Market, LLP and The BIG Plant Expo are not responsible for vendor licensing, taxes, inspections, or compliance.
Submission of this waitlist form does not guarantee acceptance and does not replace any licensing or documentation that may be required upon confirmation as a vendor.
