Part of our Mission is to educate the public about sharks and rays, and share our research findings with a wider audience. At the Lab, this includes giving tours of the Station, virtual classroom presentations, in-person presentations and other public outreach events. Interns will be expected to participate and eventually lead some of these activities. Bimini is a remote island with one small clinic that has limited medical personnel. Please disclose any medical conditions that we would need to be aware of given our remote location. Please also note that the Shark Lab can not accommodate all eating habits and dietary preferences - for example, vegan, keto, grain-free, gluten-free etc., or life threatening allergies.
