City Staff will review all YAC applications. You will receive an email confirmation once your online application is received successfully. Please note that City Staff are typically available to review applications Tuesdays through Fridays. You can always reach out to us with any questions at YAC@mountainview.gov.
Interviews will be held in person at The View Teen Center on Wednesday, Apr. 1 and Thursday, Apr. 2 between 4:30-7 p.m. each day. You will schedule your interview during this application. More information on the interviews will be sent to you via email in late March.
The YAC Member size will not exceed 15. There are additional Member-At-Large spots available. In a typical year, more than 50 applications are submitted for limited spots. Applicants will be notified via email of the selection committee’s decision in June 2026.
