• Property Access & Liability Disclosure

To facilitate a successful pickup of your generous donation, please review our property access guidelines below:
  • Donation Policy: Thank you for thinking of us! All donations are subject to acceptance upon in-person inspection. While we greatly appreciate your generosity, we reserve the right to decline any donation that does not meet our current needs, quality standards, or safety guidelines. This policy helps us steward our resources responsibly and ensure donated items are suitable for resale or ministry use. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Before we arrive, here are a few important guidelines so we can make the process smooth and efficient:

    Items We Cannot Accept:
    • Drop-down cribs (these are illegal to resell).
    • Car seats older than 6 years.
    • Large desks or oversized entertainment centers.
    • Furniture that is broken, heavily stained, damaged, or has odors.
    • Mattresses that are not like new (no stains or holes).
    • Bed frames that are missing pieces or incomplete.

    Condition Requirements:
    • Please inspect furniture before we arrive.
    • All items must be clean, safe, and in good, usable condition.
    • We cannot accept “trash” items — if we pick up items we cannot sell, we have to dispose of them, and this results in dumpster fees for the ministry.

Our leaders will inspect the donations in person at the pickup.

Thank you so much for helping us keep our ministry costs low so more of our resources can go directly to the individuals in our program. We appreciate you!

  • Access Requirements: Donors and recipients are responsible for providing a clear and accessible entry and exit path for our pickup vehicle.

Vehicle Nature: Please be aware that our box trucks are heavy, wide, and high-clearance vehicles. Unlike standard passenger cars, they require significant maneuvering space.

Potential for Minor Impact: Due to the size and weight of the equipment, maneuvering may occasionally require the truck to leave paved surfaces. This can result in unavoidable contact with overhanging tree limbs or impressions/damage to grass and turf.

    Statement of Responsibility
While our drivers make every professional effort to navigate your property with care, Recovery Soldiers Ministries cannot be held responsible for damage to landscaping, driveways, or vegetation (including trees and lawns) that may occur during the normal course of a scheduled pickup.

By scheduling a pickup or delivery, the donor acknowledges these risks and agrees to provide a safe and suitable area for the vehicle to operate.
