  • Your Details

  • Vacate Date Requested

As outlined in your tenancy agreement, a minimum of one full rental payment period’s notice is required to vacate your property. Since rent is usually due on the 1st of each month, notice must be given before the 1st to take effect from the start of the next rental period. This means the tenancy will end on the last day of a rental period, and rent will be payable up to and including that date.
  • Example

If notice is given on 15th March, the notice will take effect from 1st April, and the tenancy will end on 30th April. Rent will therefore be payable up to and including 30th April. . Note: This is based on a full rental period, not simply 30 days or one month from the date you give notice.
