    As outlined in your tenancy agreement, a minimum of TWO full rental payment periods notice is required to vacate your property. Since rent is usually due on the 1st of each month, notice must be given before the 1st to take effect from the start of the next rental period. This means the tenancy will end on the last day of a rental period, and rent will be payable up to and including that date.
  • Example

    If notice is given on 15th March, the notice period will take effect from 1st April, and the tenancy will end on 31st May. Rent will therefore be payable up to and including 31st May. . Notice is based on TWO full rental period, not simply 60 days or two months from the date you give notice.
