Princess Eligibility Requirements
• Applicant must be a dues-paid member of the Junior Red Angus Association.
• Applicant must be between the ages of 13 and 15, at the application deadline.
• Applicant must show an active interest in raising and promoting the Red Angus breed.

Application Requirements
• Complete this application form by May 22, 2026.
• Upload one reference letter at the bottom of this application (Ex: Advisor, Teacher, Breeder, Church Leader). Reference letters should not be from a family member.

Responsibilities
• Assist the National Red Angus Queen and JRA Board of Directors during the Red Angus Youth Expo and National Red Angus Shows.
• Fill in for the queen when needed (attend shows and breed functions with the queen when possible).
• Appear in official dress at shows and industry functions when presenting the breed awards. **Official dress is black pants or dark jeans with a white button-up shirt, black jacket, boots, belt, sash, and tiara. **

Awards
• All participants will be recognized at the Red Angus Youth Expo Awards Ceremony.
• Tiara and sash will be provided.

Junior princesses will be selected at the Red Angus Youth Expo. The JRA Board of Directors will act as the selection committee and will conduct an interview on Sunday at the start of RAYE. Princesses will be announced at the Red Angus Youth Expo Awards Ceremony.
