Sis. Tara R. Butler, Grand Worthy Matron of St. Monica Grand Chapter PA/DE received her Doctorate in Philosophy of Business, and Entrepreneurship from Trinity University on Saturday December 28, 2024. Currently in her 2nd semester for her second Doctorate in the Ph.D. program at an Ivy League School, The School of Social Policy & Practice at the University of Pennsylvania pursuing an additional Doctorate in Philosophy of Social Welfare & Social Policy. Dr. Butler is employed with the Smith Family Foundation NJ where she serves as the Director of Community Engagement/Director of the Nonprofit Incubation Center and professor where she teaches Business of Nonprofit at the foundations Transformative Leadership Development Center. In addition to being employed at a Philanthropic Foundation she is the current Executive Director of Vonzella’s Crown, a nonprofit she founded in March 2020 in honor of her Mother Vonzella Clayton. Dr. Butler is a member of the Order of the Eastern Star working under the auspices of the Supreme Grand Chapter of America for over 30 years. She has served in a plethora of positions in the organization on the Subordinate, Grand, and Supreme Levels. She currently serves as the Board Chair for the Supreme Grand Chapter of America Inc. and the Supreme Royal Deputy for the Supreme Grand Chapter Amaranth Court.
