Inspired by the reset function of early video game systems, Reset explores themes of disruption, change, and reconfiguration. The layered paintings draw from both historic visual traditions and early digital imagery, reflecting on how narratives are challenged and reshaped over time.

Dan Hernandez is an artist and Associate Professor of Art at the University of Toledo. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally.
