The Missoula Conservation District (MCD) is pleased to offer two $2,500 scholarships to support Missoula County students pursuing undergraduate degrees and careers related to natural resource conservation and stewardship.
- MCD High School Senior Scholarship for Missoula County high school seniors planning to attend a post-secondary institution.
- MCD Post-Secondary Scholarship for Missoula County residents currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution or planning on enrolling after a gap period.
Eligibility Requirements
Students must meet all of the following criteria to apply:
- Be a resident of Missoula County, Montana
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Be A Missoula County high school senior, or a Missoula County resident currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution as an undergraduate
- Be enrolled in or planning to pursue a course of study related to natural resources, including but not limited to: Agriculture, agribusiness. animal science, rangeland management, rangeland management, plant science, forestry, wildlife biology, environmental studies/science, sustainability, land resource science/land use planning, hydrology or water resources, conservation, ecology, or natural resource management, soil science, watershed science, environmental law, environmental policy.
