Palmetto Quilt Guild Inc. is offering $3,000 in scholarships to a high school senior(s) who best meets the eligibility requirements set forth in this application. Applications are now being accepted. The closing date for submissions is April 20, 2026.
Eligibility Requirements
High School seniors, living in Beaufort County and graduating from a public or private school in Beaufort County, are eligible to submit a completed application for a scholarship from the Guild. The applicant must intend to pursue higher education in the visual arts, that include but are not limited to photography, graphic design, textile arts, ceramics, sculpture, and architecture. The applicant must be accepted into a 2- or 4-year institution of higher learning by the time of final decisions by the committee.
Requirements for Submission
The following is required for your application to be complete:
- 2 letters of recommendation.
- A digital portfolio of 3-6 images of the applicant's work.
- A 250-word essay about integrating visual arts into long-term career goals.
- High School Transcript
Financial need may be considered but is not criteria for the award.
