    The Caribbean Investment Forum (CIF) returns in 2026, hosted in Barbados, as the region’s premier platform for advancing transformative Caribbean projects toward investment. Organised by the Caribbean Export Development Agency, CIF continues to drive high-impact investments that power the Caribbean’s sustainability, digital transformation, regional integration, and inclusive growth. For CIF 2026, the Forum is seeking advanced, investment-ready projects that can be further packaged and promoted to global investors. The focus is on identifying strong, commercially viable initiatives that demonstrate measurable national or regional impact and are poised for expansion or scaling. Projects should require capital investment of over US $3 million and align with at least one of CIF’s priority areas, the green economy, digital transformation, sustainable agriculture, logistics and transportation

  • Project Description:

    Please provide a concise but comprehensive description of your project in one integrated narrative. Your response should clearly address:

    • The project concept and the problem or market opportunity it addresses.
    • A brief Business Overview (who the organisation is, what it does, and its relevant market experience) to provide context.
    • The business model: How the project generates revenue or delivers commercial returns.
    • The current stage of development (e.g. concept, feasibility completed, operational, expansion/scale-up) The target market(s) and geographic focus.
    • The estimated investment required and intended use of funds (e.g., CAPEX, OPEX, working capital, technology, marketing).
    • The expected economic, environmental, and/or social impact, including any national or regional benefits.
    • Any progress to date, including pilots, revenues, partnerships, licences, or prior investor engagement (if applicable).

    Submission of an Expression of Interest does not guarantee selection. CIF 2026 will shortlist a limited number of projects demonstrating strong investment readiness, scalability, and alignment with investor demand. Only shortlisted applicants will be invited to submit a Full Proposal.

     

    Important Note: Shortlisted projects must be available to present in person in Barbados as part of the Caribbean Investment Forum. Exact dates will be confirmed in due course.
