Our market takes place in the Terwillegar Community Church, a spacious and accessible venue in the centre of the Terwillegar community.
We have room for up to 75 artists and artisans at our spring market. We are seeking artists and artisans that produce high-quality, uniquely crafted handmade goods. The greater Edmonton area has an amazingly talented art and artisan community, and we want to hear from you! We are excited to include a Young Maker section, showcasing up and coming youth artists, and we host community partners as well.
Our mission is to curate a market that ensures success for every participant while showcasing a wide variety of work for our patrons to shop from. Each market is mix of returning and new artisans, carefully curated from scratch to ensure success for all artisans.
Participation in a past market does not guarantee a spot in future markets. In the spirit of supporting our local artisan community, we are unable to accept out of province applications.

All goods must be handmade by you. Printed products are acceptable, however such printed products must feature your original work; this includes, but is not limited to art prints, cards, stickers, apparel, paper goods and other items that complement your handmade goods.

The $50 Young Maker spot is 6ft by 5ft and comes with a 6 foot table & 2 chairs.
The $100 spot is 6ft by 5ft and comes with a 6 foot table & 2 chairs.
The $120 spot is 8ft by 5ft and comes with a 6 foot table & 2 chairs. Any extra racks or displays must fit within the 8' space.
The $150 spot is a larger open space, 2 chairs but no table. All displays must fit within the space providede without blocking neighbouring booths. PLEASE NOTE: The actual footprint of this space will vary depending on placement within the market hall, but is approximately 10x10.
The venue has free guest wifi available for us to use during the market.
NOTE: The venue has recently upgraded some lighting in the facility, but there are some darker spots. We recommend bringing additional lighting to enhance your displays.
HAND2HAND UP BURSARY PROGRAM
The Hand2Hand Artisan Society was founded with a deep desire to connect and support local artists. We also recognize the challenges new and emerging artists and artisans face to get their foot in the door. With those challenges in mind we are extremely excited to introduce the new Hand2Hand Hand Up Bursary - and offer a hand up (see what we did there) to artists facing circumstances that make getting to market difficult.
During vendor selection we'll also be selecting 1-2 vendors to receive a hand up with their table fees. The selection process will determine need based on a number of criteria including age of your business, financial need, barriers you may face, and extraordinary circumstances. is a registered non-profit organization located in Edmonton, AB. We are run by a collective of 5 local artisans that have collaborated to bring the best handmade, high-quality goods to the local marketplace. We started this endeavour because each of us has a love of art and creativity! We believe in collaboration and supporting local artisans.
Our Commitment to You - We take no pay for the labour we put into our markets - your table fees pay only for marketing and administration. We do this because we are committed to supporting our local handmade community. We believe we are all stronger by supporting one another.
