Self-Portrait Call for Art!

Deadline for Submissions- Friday, June 12, 2026

We want to see the world through your eyes, specifically how do you see yourself? For this exhibit, we are looking for self-portraits in all of their forms. Whether it's a traditional likeness, meaningful objects that you surround yourself with, or the environment/community that shapes you. Show us your spirit and what story you want to tell the world.
 

 

 

Submission Requirements: 

Up to three pieces may be submitted for $20.

No profanity, political artwork, or artwork with questionable copyright will be considered.   

All photographs of work included in submission should be high resolution, taken straight on, and cropped.

You will be notified of your acceptance by Friday, June 19, 2026
All accepted work must be delivered to our gallery by  Tuesday, July 14, 2026
If artwork needs to be shipped to/from the gallery, the artist is responsible for shipping fees.  
All accepted artwork must arrive at the gallery ready to hang.

At Able ARTS Work, we celebrate how the arts can positively affect people’s lives and are proud to host exhibits that celebrate artists of all abilities, ages, and communities.

 

Please be advised that all sales of approved artists work will be subject to have a 20% commission taken by Able ARTS Work. Artists will receive payment at the end of the exhibit.  

The exhibits team can assist with pricing. 

By signing this form I give permissions to Able ARTS Work and its employees to utilize all images submitted in this form to be released on Able ARTS Work social media, website and various other platforms for promotional and virtual exhibition purposes.

 

By submitting you agree that the work is your own. Upon acceptance to the exhibition, you grant Able ARTS Work the right to reproduce your images for promotional use. Able ARTS Work will not use your images for any other purpose without the artist’s permission. Upon acceptance to the exhibition, you grant Able ARTS Work the right to create an audio description of your work. Able ARTS Work will always credit the artist. By submitting you agree that your work may not be removed from the gallery before the closing of the exhibition. By submitting you agree to pickup the artwork at the closing on the exhibit. Able ARTS Work and curators reserve the right to all curatorial decisions. 

 

As a nonprofit arts organization we understand the weight of submission fees for an artist. By submitting your $20 fee you are contributing to our efforts to support and promote our 120+ artists.
