Waiver and Release of Liability
In consideration of being permitted to participate as a vendor in the Peak City Pig Fest (the “Event”), I, the undersigned, intending to be legally bound, hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages, losses, or injuries that I may have against the Peak City Pig Fest, the Apex Sunrise Rotary Club, the Apex Sunrise Rotary Foundation, the Town of Apex, North Carolina, and the Kansas City Barbeque Society, along with their officers, members, volunteers, representatives, and assigns (collectively “the Organizers”).
I understand and agree that:
- I am solely responsible for my own property, equipment, inventory, cash, electronic payment systems, displays, and supplies.
- The Organizers and the Town of Apex are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to any property or goods before, during, or after the Event, including any items left overnight on Town of Apex property or public space.
- The Organizers and the Town of Apex do not provide overnight security, and any vendor choosing to leave a booth, tent, trailer, or merchandise in place overnight does so entirely at their own risk.
- The Organizers and the Town of Apex are not responsible for any interruption of services such as Wi‑Fi, electricity, or payment systems.
- I am responsible for securing my own booth and for complying with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, including health, safety, and business regulations.
- I assume full responsibility for any injury or damage caused by my participation, equipment, products, or actions during the Event.
- Further, I grant permission to the Organizers and their agents to use photographs, video, and recordings of my participation in the Event for promotional or other legitimate purposes without compensation to me.
By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to this waiver and release of liability.
