THE AWARD
The VMCTA Rookie of the Year Award is sponsored annually by the Vermont Municipal Clerks' and Treasurers' Association (VMCTA) to recognize a Clerk, Treasurer, or Assistant with five (5) years or less in the profession who has demonstrated exceptional performance, leadership, and professionalism. The award honors accomplishments such as resolving challenges, providing strong leadership, or bringing new energy to the municipal office, while encouraging continued service in the profession.
