Applications that best meet the fund criteria will be shortlisted and reviewed by a judging panel, so it’s worth reviewing the creative brief and T&Cs carefully before getting started. The judging panel will include experts in creative engagement, sustainability and digital inclusion representatives from #CovConnects (Coventry City Council), Virgin Media O2, and Hubbub.

- Fund Opens for Full Applications: 26th February 2026 (please note we still welcome questions during this time)
- Full Application Deadline: 11:59pm on 26th March 2026
- After the application deadline, all submissions will be assessed against the fund criteria and shortlisted.
- Creative(s) Selected: 10th April 2026
- Build Phase: 10th April - 1st July 2026
- Installation Pick-Up for Outdoor Placement: Approx. 2nd July 2026
- Installation Touring in Coventry: Summer 2026 (locations to be confirmed)

We expect to provide funding of up to £18,000. However, if you wish to apply for less than this, please state why. The provision of the funding from the #Connected Coventry: A Tech Reuse Arts Fund from Virgin Media O2’ amounts to a conditional gift and is therefore not subject to VAT. If any grant recipient is required by the UK Government to pay VAT on any products or services as part of their initiative, then they agree and acknowledge that their funding application budget will have included any and all applicable VAT.
