Artwork: Request for Exhibition Space
You are invited to submit a request for exhibition space at our art exhibition, which will run concurrently with our conference (main exhibition: evening of 6 May, Blaauwberg Beach Hotel), with the theme: “The Art and Science of Neuropsychology.” Given the meaningful role that art plays within therapeutic practice and rehabilitation, this exhibition aims to showcase artwork created by neuropsychologists, psychologists, arts therapists, and other professionals working in rehabilitation. Artwork created by patients or clients who engage with art as part of their rehabilitation journey is also invited. Such work will only be exhibited with the permission of the artist. The exhibition seeks to reflect both the clinical depth and human impact of therapeutic and rehabilitative work, recognising that meaningful visual expression may exist both as fine art and as a therapeutic process. There is no cost for exhibitors other than the delivery (3 days before the conference) and collection (on the 8th of May) of the artwork at Zone One Creative Studio (Pty) Ltd, 32 Raats Drive, Table View, and at the Blaauwberg Beach Hotel (collection). The cut-off date for exhibition space requests is 27 March 2026. Selling art pieces at a price determined by the artist is permitted. Please note the Art Parameters mentioned in another section.
