How to Enter and Competition Rules
Eligibility
This competition is open to student travellers, teachers and Global Action leaders who have travelled on a Global Action Limited trip between 30 March and 31 August 2026.
Employees of Global Action Limited, or anyone else associated with this competition, are excluded from entry.
General Terms
By entering this competition, participants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions, which form a binding agreement upon submission.
The decision of the judges is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
How to Enter
The competition opens on 30th March 2026 and all entries must be received by midnight on 31st August 2026.
Participants can submit entries in the following categories:
- Culture
- The Natural World
- Friendship
- The Sustainable Development Goals in action
- Best Selfie
Photos: Entries must be submitted via the Jotform Global Action 2026 Photo Competition application form.
All photographs submitted must have minimum dimensions of 1600 x 1200px and minimum resolution of 72dpi. We may contact competition entrants for higher resolution versions of their photos if we deem it appropriate.
Files must be at no larger than 10MB, and labelled as: Category_Country_YourFullName.
Submission Rules
Entries must be original work created by the individual submitting them and must not have been previously published or won awards in other competitions.
Entrants must ensure their submissions comply with copyright laws. By entering, participants confirm they own the copyright for their submission.
If a submitted photo contains any people, then it is up to the photographer to ensure that they have the consent of those people to use that photo.
Entrants may submit up to two photos in the competition.
AI-generated or heavily AI-edited content will not be accepted. Minor retouching or enhancement using software is permitted, but the work must retain its original integrity as captured by the participant.
Copyright and Usage Rights
Copyright of all images submitted for this competition remains with the entrant. However, by entering, each entrant grants Global Action Limited a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual license to use their submissions in any Global Action Limited publications, websites, social media, or promotional materials.
While efforts will be made to credit the entrant where possible, this cannot be guaranteed.
Global Action Limited reserves the right to edit submissions for promotional purposes while maintaining the integrity of the original work.
Disqualification
Late, incomplete, low-resolution, or corrupt entries will not be accepted. Proof of transmission is not proof of receipt.
Judging and Prizes
Entries will be judged based on originality, visual appeal, and how well they convey their intended message.
The overall competition winner will receive a £100 Amazon voucher, while category winners will be awarded £50 Amazon vouchers.
Winners will be notified within 45 days of the competition closing date.
Publicity and Privacy
Winners may be required to participate in promotional activities. By entering, participants consent to the use of their name, likeness, and submission in any promotional activity related to the competition.
General Provisions
If entries do not meet the required standard or are insufficient in number, Global Action reserves the right not to declare a winner or award prizes.
Events beyond Global Action’s control may necessitate amendments to the competition or prizes. No liability will attach to Global Action for such changes.
Governing Law
English law applies and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts shall prevail.
