  • This form is designated for those who are already registered to attend the ISSU Chomhdháil Bhliaintiúl and would like to put themselves forward for election to the Coiste Gnó na nDaltaí for 2025.

    Please note: when writing your application, you must ensure to use the correct titles of officers and bodies within the union, including the appropriate titles bilingually. 

    Full job descriptions of the positions on the Coiste Gnó na nDaltaí are available in the ISSU Constitution on our website. Please review these documents before proceeding with your nomination.

    Points to consider:

    - Nominations for Coiste Gnó na nDaltaí positions are only open to current member schools.

    - No more than two current students of any member school may contest Coiste Gnó elections.

    - This form will ask you to answer some questions which will be published in the ISSU Chomhdháil Bhliaintiúl Program. You will also need a photo ready to upload.

    - You need to be registered as a delegate to attend An Chomhdháil Bhliaintiúl.

    - Your must recieve a valid nomination to run for the position by the deadline. Nominations can originate from your student council, the Coiste Gnó, the Regional Officer Body, or Working Groups.  

    Closing date: You can submit nominations here until 11:59pm on Sunday the 22nd of March, 2026. 

    The deadline of confirmation from your nominating body must be received by 11.59pm on Wednesday the 25th of March, 2026. 

    Please note candidates will still need to register in order to attend  An Chomhdháil Bhliaintiúl in person.

    You may only nominate yourself to run for a position on the Coiste Gnó na nDaltaí if your school is a member school of the Irish Second-Level Students' Union.

  • You will require a nomination from your Student Council Chairperson to run for a position on the Coiste Gnó. Please include the details of the Student Council Chairperson below.

    If you are the Student Council Chairperson, please enter the email of the next most senior elected representative after you.
