    Jump in, make waves, and celebrate a birthday at the pool! First step is to complete this request form.

    • Reserved canopy for two hours in the party zone.
    • A celebratory T-shirt for the party honoree.
    • Homemade foods or purchase food from one of our sponsor vendors
    • Discounted frozen treats from the Snack Shack (must be purchased in advance)
    • Four, 8-foot picnic tables, plus an 8ft. table for food/presents.
    • Access to the party area 15 minutes prior to your reservation start time.
    • Parties held on Saturdays and Sundays - June 6 - August 16
    • $50 deposit non-refundable deposit required to reserve a spot
    • Small party (25 or fewer*) fees $250-R, $350-NR
    • Large party (40 max*) fees $360-R, $525-NR

    Skokie Water Playground, located at 4715 Oakton St. features a large zero-depth pool, sprayground, 3 big water slides, at an interactive play structure with 2 smaller slides and a giant red tipping bucket. Devonshire Aquatic Center is the smaller of our two facilities and feature a zero-depth pool, diving board and sprayground.

  • Deposit, Cancellations & Refunds

    A non-refundable deposit of $50 will be required to secure your party reservation. Your date is not confirmed until deposit is paid. You may choose to pay the entire amount of the reservation or your credit card will be auto-charged on the Monday prior to your reservation. 

    All parts of our facilities are completely outdoors and exposed to the elements. In the event of rain or low temperatures, we will contact you to mutually determine how how to proceed; if we can, we will go ahead with the reservation. Otherwise, we can try to reschedule, or issue a full refund, including deposit. No refunds will be issued due to the weather after the first hour of the reservation. Refunds will be returned to the original credit card used to purchase the reservation or issued via check to the party host listed on this form.

    You may bring in your own prepared foods or choose to order from one of our preferred vendors at discounted prices. We recommend having your delivery 45 minutes after your party’s start time. All other commercially packaged foods are not allowed.

    • You may bring in store bought cakes. We recommend cupcakes.
    • Other Commercially packaged food purchased from a restaurant or store may not be brought into the facility.
    • You may bring in coolers at no charge as long as there is no alcohol or glass.
    • Homemade foods, bag of chips, and sack lunches are permitted.
    • Any food necessary to satisfy a dietary, medical, and/or religious need is permitted.
    • Alcohol is not permitted and will result in cancellation of party with no refund.
    • All coolers are subject to inspection.
    • The Skokie Park District does not provide any refridgeration or freezers.

  • Terms & Conditions

    1. Lifeguards are on duty to enforce pool rules and respond to emergencies. Parents/guardians should supervise their children.
    2. Party Host shall fully comply with all Skokie Park District rules, regulations, policies & ordinances in connection with the use of the facility. Party Host is responsible for the behavior of all party guests.
    3. Party Host is solely responsible for ensuring adequate adult supervision of all children attending their party.
    4. Supervision ratios:
    5. For children aged 5 and younger: One responsible individual, aged 16 or older, for every five children.
    6. For children aged 6-10: One responsible individual, age 16 or older, for every ten children.
    7. Party Host is solely responsible for the safety & security of any property brought to the facility. The Skokie Park District is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.
    8. Party Host shall ensure that there is always at least one adult supervisor fluent in English and on site during the reservation.
    9. Coast Guard Approved life jackets are permitted. No other inflatables or floatation devices are allowed. Life jackets may not be worn on water slides or diving boards. Lifejackets are not a substitute for adult supervision.
    10. No alcohol, glass, or open flame is allowed. We do not have refrigeration/freezer space available.
    11. You may order a food package from one of our preferred vendors. No other catering or carry-out food is allowed inside the facility other than our preferred vendors. You are welcome to bring a cake and any homemade food. A list of preferred vendors can be found on our website and will be included in your confirmation receipt.
    12. Failure to adhere to safety rules, or repeated violations of pool rules, may result in the cancellation of your reservation.
    13. The Skokie Park District reserves the right to cancel this reservation at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to; inclement weather, misconduct by the Party Host or any guest, for purposes deemed necessary for public safety or preservation of public property, if cancellation serves the interests of Park District residents, or because the Party Host has breached any of its obligations under these terms & conditions. Future rentals may not be issued to the Party Host.

  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION 

    The Skokie Park District is committed to providing safe aquatic facilities and programs and holds the safety of participants in high regard. The Park District continually strives to reduce risks and insists that all participants follow safety rules and instructions that are designed to protect the participants' safety. However, participants and parents/guardians of minors must recognize that there is an inherent risk of injury. Participants, or the parents/guardians of participants, are solely responsible for determining if you/your minor child/ward are physically fit and/or adequately skilled for the activities associated with this reservation. It is always advisable, especially if the participant is pregnant, disable in any way or recently suffered an illness, injury or impairment, to consult a physician before undertaking any physical/aquatic activity. PLEASE UNDERSTAND AND RECOGNIZE THAT LIFEGUARDS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING SUPERVISION OR ASSESSING YOUR SWIMMING SKILLS, OR THAT OF YOUR MINOR CHILD; RATHER, LIFEGUARDS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENFORCING SAFETY RULES AND RESPONDING TO EMERGENCIES. PARENTS/GUARDIANS ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SUPERVISION OF ANY AND ALL ACTIVITIES CONTEMPLATED BY THIS AGREEMENT. CHILDREN 10 YEARS OF AGE AND YOUNGER MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES BY A RESPONSIBLE PERSON, AT LEAST 16 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. NEVER LEAVE ANY CHILD WITH POOR SWIMMING SKILLS OR 10 YEARS OF AGE AND YOUNGER UNATTENDED.

    WARNING OF RISK

    Swimming and other aquatic activities challenge and engage the physical, mental and emotional resources of each participant. However, despite careful and proper preparation, instruction, medical advice, conditioning and equipment, there is still a risk of serious injury, including but not limited to drowning, head/brain injury, and spinal cord injury. Understandably, not all hazards and dangers can be foreseen. The very nature of swimming and aquatic activities are hazardous and risky, including but not limited to fatigue and overexertion, poor swimming skills, failing to avoid dangerous areas, failing to follow rules and regulations, failure of lifeguards to locate victims and/or delay in emergency response time, horseplay, diving or jumping into shallow water and striking the bottom or side of the pool, inadequate supervision or instruction, lack of conditioning, becoming disoriented, striking other swimmers, striking one's head on the bottom, slips or falls, chemical exposure and all other circumstances inherent to aquatic activities. In this regard, it must be recognized that it is impossible for the Skokie Park District to guarantee absolute safety.

    WAIVER AND RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

    Please read this form carefully and be aware that in consideration for this facility reservation, you will be expressly assuming the risk and legal liability and waiving and releasing all claims for injuries, damages, or loss which you, your guests, and your minor children/wards might sustain as a result of participating in any and all activities connected with and associated with the use of Skokie Park District aquatic facilities and programs. I recognize and acknowledge that there are certain inherent risks of physical injury to patrons of aquatic facilities, and I voluntarily agree to assume the full risk of any injuries, damages, or loss, regardless of severity that I, my minor child/ward, or my guests or their minor children/wards may sustain as a result of participating in any and all activities and programs connected with or associated with this facility reservation. I further recognize and agree that lifeguards and other aquatic staff are not responsible for supervising my activities or the activities associated with my reservation, and I agree that I am solely responsible for supervising any minor children/wards present at my reservation. I additionally agree to ensure that all children present for my reservation under the age of 10 are supervised by a responsible adult, at least 16 years of age. I further agree to waive and relinquish all claims I, my guests, or my minor child/ward may have (or accrue to me, my guests, or my child/ward) as a result of use of the Park District's aquatic facilities and programs, against the Park District, including its officials, agents, volunteers and employees. I do hereby fully release and forever discharge the Park District from any and all claims for injuries, damages or loss that I, my guests or my minor child/ward may have, or which may accrue to me, my guests or my minor child/ward, and arising out of, connected with, or in any way associated with use of the Park District's aquatic facilities and programs.

    I HAVE READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE TERMS & CONDITIIONS, IMPORTANT INFORMATION, WARNING OF RISK, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND WAIVER AND RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS. IF REGISTERING ONLINE, CLICKING "AGREE" SHALL SUBSTITUTE FOR AND HAVE THE SAME LEGAL EFFECT AS AN ORIGINAL FORM SIGNATURE.
