APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP
ARTICLE 1 NAME AND PURPOSE
I-A. The name of the Society shall be the NORTH EAST KANSAS RAILROADERS (herein after referred to as the Society).
I-B. The purpose of the Society shall be:
- To encourage interest in Model Railroading and Toy Train operation and preservation;
- To promote the preservation of prototype Railroad Equipment and memorabilia in Atchison, Kansas, and across America and at the same time to promote the science and methods of Railroading, past, present and future, by increasing the knowledge and awareness of its members and the public;
- To obtain and circulate information on these subjects;
- To provide a means for the interested members of the Society to build and exhibit their own modules and/or equipment; and
- To secure the cooperation of its members, the public and all interested parties in establishing a Railroad Museum dedicated to collecting, restoring, preserving, exhibiting, and operating technology's greatest historical achievements in Railroading, both model and prototype.
ARTICLE II MEMBERSHIP
II-A. Any person interested in Model Railroading and/or in preserving the colorful history of Railroading in Kansas and across America who applies for membership in any classification as specified in the By-Laws of the Society, and who tenders the necessary initiation fee and dues, shall thereby become a member.

INDIVIDUAL ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP: (16 years of age or older) Dues $15 per calendar year.FAMILY ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP: $15 for first member, $1.50 for each additional family member living at home per calendar year. List family members below:
