Wellen Park may permit independent clubs and community groups to conduct activities within designated areas of the community. The following rules and regulations apply to all clubs and groups operating at Wellen Park.
1. Status & Non-Association
All clubs and groups are independently organized and operated. They are not associated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Wellen Park. Participation by Wellen Park in listing a club or group on its website does not constitute sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or approval of the organization’s activities beyond permitting its presence within the community. All marketing materials, communications, and representations must clearly state that the club or group is independently organized and is not affiliated with Wellen Park in any manner whatsoever but its events are physically located in Wellen Park. No publications, documents, social media, or materials may imply, either directly or indirectly ownership, sponsorship, endorsement, or partnership by Wellen Park. If approved, Wellen Park will list the club/group on the website under the clubs/groups tab which will include the title, short description and contact information.
2. Use of Space & Support Limitations
Unfortunately due to space restrictions, Wellen Park does not provide dedicated event space, staffing, logistical support, funding, equipment, or marketing services for clubs or groups.The sole marketing accommodation provided by Wellen Park, if approved, is a basic listing on the official Wellen Park website. No additional promotional support can be provided.Clubs and groups are responsible for securing any necessary space reservations in accordance with applicable policies and availability.
3. Eligibility & Purpose
Clubs and groups must contribute positively to the community and align with Wellen Park’s standards and values.Wellen Park reserves the right to deny, suspend, or revoke permission for any club or group at its sole and absolute discretion at any time.
4. Branding & Marketing Restrictions
Wellen Park® , Wellen®, Wellen Park Living® and their respective logos are licensed trademarks of Wellen Park and no club/group has any right whatsoever to use said trademarks, including but not limited to use in any club or group name or title, publications, documents, social media, marketing, signage, merchandise, etc. Phrasing such as “Wellen Park [Club Name]” is strictly prohibited. However, use of Wellen Park to depict location with use of “at” is permitted.
For example: "Wellen Park Book Club" will NOT be approved, but "The book club at Wellen Park" will be approved.
All promotional materials referencing Wellen Park must be submitted for review and receive written approval prior to distribution.Clubs and groups may not use Wellen Park logos, trademarks, or branded materials without express written authorization. Violation of Wellen Park’s trademark rights may result in litigation. By submitting this application you agree that you will be liable for Wellen Park’s reasonable attorneys' fees actually incurred in defending Wellen Park’s trademark rights.
5. Contact Information Requirement
Each club or group must designate a primary contact person who is responsible for oversight and coordination of the organization’s activities at Wellen Park. The designated contact must be a Wellen Park resident. The primary contract must provide a current email address, phone number, and address at the time of application or approval.The primary contact shall serve as the official representative for all communications with Wellen Park management.Clubs and groups are required to notify Wellen Park in writing within five (5) business days of any change to the designated contact person or their contact information. Failure to maintain accurate and current contact information may result in suspension or revocation of approval.
6. Operational Compliance
Organizers are responsible for obtaining all required permits and coordinating appropriate safety, security, traffic control, and medical services as required by law or activity type.All activities must comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Upon approval from Wellen Park, you will receive the necessary information to obtain the proper permits if required.
7. Non-Discrimination Policy
All clubs and groups operating at Wellen Park must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local non-discrimination laws. Clubs and groups may not discriminate against any individual on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, marital status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Participation criteria, membership policies, programming, and conduct must be administered in a manner that promotes inclusivity and equal opportunity. Wellen Park reserves the right to deny, suspend, or revoke approval of any club or group found to be in violation of this policy. ***Religious, Gender Specific and Political Groups are prohibited.
8. Final Approval & Revocation
All clubs and groups require written approval from Wellen Park Management prior to commencing activities.Approval may be revoked at any time for failure to comply with these rules and regulations or for conduct inconsistent with community standards. Wellen Park has no liability whatsoever for a club/group’s failure to abide by these Rules and Regulations. If approved you will be notified via email from events@wellenpark.com
