    Please submit a sample of related work.

    In order for applications to be considered, applicants are asked to provide some samples of their work. These can be PDF text files, still images or short video links. 

    All submitted work samples should have been completed within the past five years, unless otherwise noted. A note of explanation should accompany any work sample completed outside of this timeframe.

    Any work done with a collaborator must be noted. Please describe your role with respect to the work.

    Work Samples are submitted by uploading media within the online application, and please do not upload more than eight total. 

    TITLING YOUR WORK

    Please title all files with the following format:

    01initialsyeartitle and appropriate extension (PDF, JPG, etc).

    Examples:

    Scripts: PDF file of a partial or full play script

    Video: PDF file which lists the URLs of 2 videos or video clips of your visual work.

    Still images: Preferred file size for still images is less than 3 MB each.
    Only one artwork per image, unless it is an installation view.

    Please submit a new reference by uploading a pdf of your referee letter. Please note that referees should be those who are familiar with you and your work and can speak to your ability to live within a close community of artists.

  • Ross Creek residencies are not yet subsidized so we do generally require a fee. Please see our website for more details.

    The Ross Creek Centre offers a few subsidized and work exchange opportunities to applicants based on a combination of merit and need. Aid packages differ depending on the time of year (more assistance is available October-April The full cost of a single week residency at is currently $775 CDN incuding all meals, accommodation and facilitation.

    Ross Creek is grateful to those who are able to payin full, as it allows us to continue to assist others who would otherwise not have access to our program. If you are applying for a need-based fellowship or work-exchange, please upload the first page of your federal tax return or similar indication of income below. For your security, you may black out your SIN / SS# and the name/SIN/SS# of any other person who appears on the return.
