The officers and directors of MPI New Jersey represent the voice of the Chapter's membership. With the traits that the Governance & Nominating Committee will be seeking in mind, answer the following questions, which illustrate your ideas for the future growth, direction, and development of the MPI New Jersey Chapter. The application process may take up to 30 minutes, so grab a cup of coffee and settle into a quiet space to complete. Time Commitment:
Regular attendance at monthly meetings, chapter activities, and functions, as well as attendance at Board meetings, retreats, and monthly committee calls, is required. We recognize that professional and personal commitments may occasionally arise, and flexibility will be extended when necessary, but require notification to the chapter administrator prior to the meeting. Board members are expected to make every effort to be present at all meetings either in person or virtually. You would be required to attend the following programs if you are slated to serve on the 2027 Board of Directors. BOARD ORIENTATION (Aug 2026 - Virtual) - CHAPTER BUSINESS SUMMIT (Sept 2026- Virtual) ANNUAL BOARD RETREAT (Oct/Nov 2026 for 2 days in-person preferred, but virtual is an option) - MID-YEAR BOARD RETREAT (April/ May 2027 Half-Day Session) - MONTHLY BOARD MEETINGS/CALLS (2027 - mostly virtual)
