• Guidelines for the Applicant - Please read carefully:

    Please complete this form if you have firm intention of attending the Trodden Path retreat and can attend all ten days (full retreat). 

    Retreat Dates: Tuesday, 7th July 2026 to Friday, 17th July 2026.

    Place: Muṣṭafā Mount, Emm Lane Campus, Bradford BD9 4JL

    Application Details:

    • Registration is mandatory to attend the Trodden path retreat.

    • Places are limited and will be offered depending on the availability.

    • There is no Non-residential or Online student option this year.

    • Family applications are welcome and will be considered based on the availability. 

    Residential Student:

    • Twin sharing at The Heaton Mount Hotel & Vernon Barnby with full board (3 meals) £850* per person. 
    • There is no course fee to attend the Trodden Path classes but there is cost* that includes accommodation & meals (full board) for 10 days (from Tuesday, 7th July to Friday, 17th July 2026)
    • Course Pack: Students are also required to purchase a course pack (£50) which will include the texts that will be covered during the retreat.

    Application Process:

    1. Students must complete an application form and submit an application fee (£25).
    2. Applications will be processed (within 14 days).
    3. You will be sent a deposit invoice (£225) / payment instructions via Xero.
    4. Submit your non-refundable deposit to secure your place on the retreat.
    5. Receive confirmation that one’s place has been secured.
    6. Complete the final payment (£600) at least 14 days, before the start of the retreat.

  • 5. Personal Statement

  • Please note that the personal statement should be filled in for new applicants and should be no more than 400 words (Previous applicants can put n/a).  You should include any information that you feel will support your application to attend the retreat. This may include additional information about your past studies, da'wah work, why you wish to attend and so forth.  Your spouse's personal statement should also be included (if he/she is applying for the retreat).

  • 6. Terms and Conditions

  • Attendance

    All students are required to attend the full ten days of the retreat.

    Residential Student

    Residential Student cost for the retreat is £850 pp; £250 for the non-refundable deposit per person and £600 for the remaining payment. There are no concessions available. Greensville Trust reserves the right to revoke the acceptance of an application if deposits/remaining payments are not paid when due. The dates for payment will be disclosed once notification of one’s acceptance (onto the retreat) has been given.

    Course Pack

    Students will be required to purchase the Course pack (£50) which will include various texts that will be covered during the retreat.

    Childcare

    Childcare facilities will be provided for children between the ages of three and eleven and will be provided based on a minimum number of children utilising the service. There will be a fee to access this facility. 

    Cancellations & Refunds

    Deposits (Residential student) are non-refundable. If a student decides to withdraw from the retreat (after having been accepted) then notification of this withdrawal must be received by the administration no later than 10 days before the start of the retreat in order for the remaining payment of the fee to be refunded.

    Online Content Access

    Access to class recordings will be available through the Trodden Path Portal. Whilst every effort will be made to provide access to recordings of each and every class, there may be occasions where substitute recordings are used. Access to online content will be granted to registered students for one year only. Progressing students will have access to content from previous years so long as they are a registered Trodden Path student for that year. Online content will not be available for download.

    Multimedia and Social Media

    Occasionally we have media personnel visiting the Madrasa to take footage for promotional material for Greensville Trust. If you would prefer not to be part of this please let administration know and we will ensure your wishes are respected.

    Photos or any kind of recordings of the Trodden Path classes are not permitted.

    Students are particularly reminded to respect the reputation of Greensville Trust in relation to social media and to exercise caution when posting anything online which may be directly or indirectly affiliated to Greensville Trust.

    Limitation of Liability

    Greensville Trust shall not be responsible for any loss or injury obtained when attending as a student at the Trodden Path retreat. By signing this agreement, you agree that you, your heirs, legal representatives, or any member of your family will not make a legal claim against or sue Greensville Trust for its work in managing and administering the Trodden Path retreat. If any portion of this agreement is unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect. This agreement shall be construed, enforced, and governed according to the laws of England and applicable to agreements made and to be performed in the United Kingdom. Any reference herein to the limitation of liability of Greensville Trust shall also mean that all agents, servants and employees of Greensville Trust shall have no individual liability whatsoever in connection with such specified events. This agreement sets forth the entire agreement of the parties and may only be changed or provisions waived by a writing signed by both parties.
