86CUP Registration Form 2026

Do NOT fill out this form prior to one week before the event date of the round you are registering for. Read the form carefully as sections may have changed from previous years. This driver registration form is required to be completed BEFORE the end of the event weekend concludes so that we can announce winners at the end of each event day. I have read the current 86Cup rules and understand that without this form received before the end of an event weekend, I will forfeit any competition results.

POWER, ENGINE, AND DRIVETRAIN

-2.000 - FA200.000 - FA24 (2022+ BRZ/GR86 engine)4.500 - Engine swap (any non FA20/FA24 engine) — must take points individually for non-oem modifications to that specific engine or the original chassis (e.g., headers, intake, etc.)

If you are unsure about the legality of a modification or part, ask the 86CUP board BEFORE using it.

STOCK CLASS — Allowed mods only
Allowed:
- Any OEM wheel (including factory-equipped STi/TRD wheels)
- Aftermarket wheels: 17” diameter only, up to 8” wide
- Maxxis VR-1 or VR2 (coming soon) up to 225 width, GT Radial SX2 up to 225 width (allowed until April 30th, 2026), or OEM tires in OEM widths
- Camber bolts and/or camber plates for front struts
- Rear suspension lower control arms
- 2022+ ducktails (factory or equivalently-sized) are allowed
- OEM Subaru/Toyota front STi/TRD/GR lip only if equipped from the factory
- 2026+ GR aero kit (e.g. Yuzu edition) for the GR86 only if equipped from the factory
- Any item in the “FREE MODIFICATIONS for all classes” list
- Replacing Stock Class-legal OEM parts with newer/older model year equivalents is allowed (e.g., bumpers, sway bars, etc.)

Not allowed:
- Rear spoilers not on base trim model are NOT allowed (e.g., RS1.0 or TRD spoiler)
- Lightweight replacement parts are NOT allowed (spare tire removal is OK)
- 2013-2020 BRZ tS/STi carbon wing

STREET CLASS — 4.0 points maximum
- 2850 lbs minimum weight with driver and full tank of gas

MODIFIED CLASS — 7.0 points maximum
- 2750 lbs minimum weight with driver and full tank of gas

UNLIMITED CLASS — No maximum
- As long as you have a FT86 or AE86 chassis, anything goes

86Cup reserves the right in exceptional cases to re-classify any car it deems belonging in a different class, regardless of the total number of modification points. AE86 chassis Corollas are allowed an extra 500 lb weight allowance from each class (e.g. a Street class AE86 is allowed to be 2350 lbs, instead of 2850 lbs).

I grant to the 86CUP the absolute and irrevocable right and unrestricted permission concerning any photographs that the 86CUP has taken or may take of me or in which I may be included with others, to use, reuse, publish, and republish the photographs in whole or in part, individually or in connection with other material, in any and all media now or hereafter known, including the internet, and for any purpose whatsoever, specifically including illustration, promotion, art, editorial, advertising, and trade, without restriction as to alteration; and to use my name in connection with any use if he/she so chooses. I release and discharge the 86CUP from any and all claims and demands that may arise out of or in connection with the use of the photographs, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or violation of any right of publicity or privacy. This authorization and release shall also inure to the benefit of the heirs, legal representatives, licensees, and assigns of the 86CUP as well as the person(s) for whom the 86CUP took the photographs. I am a legally competent adult and have the right to contract in my own name. I have read this document and fully understand its contents. This release shall be binding upon me and my heirs, legal representatives, and assigns.

Participant is fully aware that “86CUP” and/or its sponsors and event hosts do not cover liability associated with the events. In the above premises and both during and after the event, Participant will indemnify, defend and hold 86CUP and its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, customers, distributors, independent contractors, suppliers, agents, successors and assigns, harmless from and against all actions, suits, proceedings, judgments, demands, claims, liabilities, losses or expenses whatsoever (including reasonable attorney's fees) incurred in connection with or arising from the 86CUP events, the support vehicle(s), the sponsored parts and consumables, the activities or omissions of driver or team members or the activities or omissions of 86CUP including, without limitation:

Any claim falling within the insurance coverage;
Any claim or action for or relating to personal loss, injury, death, property damage or otherwise, suffered by participants, competitors (such as the drivers), spectators or others at any of the events or team meetings or activities relating to the activities of the 86CUP (or their relatives as a result thereof) or otherwise.
