    Role Descriptions

Ambassadors (do not work directly with youth)
Ambassadors represent Diverse Ability Incorporated at events like fairs and conferences. They talk about our programs and help spread the word about what we do. This role is flexible and does not include working with youth.

    Volunteers (Youth and Adult)
Volunteers help support our programs and events. This can include helping with activities, setting up, and supporting participants. Some volunteers may work directly with youth. Youth and young adult volunteers must be graduates of the Arizona Youth Leadership Forum (AZYLF).

    Peer Leaders
Peer Leaders are AZYLF graduates who come back to support our programs. They work directly with youth by leading activities, sharing their experiences, and helping participants stay engaged and build leadership skills.

DAI's Peer Leader model is designed to help AZYLF graduates grow their skills and take on more responsibility over time. Each level builds on the last, helping young people move from learning to leading. To learn more, visit our Engagement and Employment webpage.

    Interns
Interns support DAI’s mission while building skills for their academic and career goals by helping with programs, working with youth, and supporting behind‑the‑scenes tasks with guidance from staff. Prior approval required. Please email the Admin Inbox with questions.
