Eligibility Requirements

Community Service / Volunteer Involvement

Must have a proven history of volunteerism or community engagement

Activities may include school-sponsored service, nonprofit involvement, church-service projects, city events, youth programs, festival support, or other community-based efforts.

Academic Standing

Must be a graduating high school senior in good academic standing.

Minimum GPA requirement 2.75

Letter of Recommendation

Applicant must submit one letter of recommendation from an adult who directly oversees or can verify their volunteer work. (e.g. nonprofit coordinator, teacher, coach, pastor, event organizer, or community leader)

Short Essay

Applicant must include a brief (two paragraph) written response answering: "Why is volunteering for your local community important?
