2026/2027 School Year Student Application
Please complete this application thoughtfully and honestly. We review every response holistically to better understand each student as a whole person — not just academics, but interests, character, and learning needs.

Applications are due by February 27th. After review, selected applicants will be contacted by March 6th to schedule an interview and campus tour. Interviews and tours will take place during the weeks of March 16th & March 23rd. Enrollment offers are sent within two business days after interviewing and touring.

At the conclusion of the application, a $25 application fee is required. This fee is non-refundable and, for children accepted into the program, will be applied toward tuition.

Ember Academy operates more like a learning community than a conventional school/classroom. Instead of prioritizing seat time, lectures, and uniform pacing, the school is built around the belief that children learn best through curiosity, relationships, and meaningful work. Ember Academy intentionally blends age groups so students learn within a community rather than a single-grade cohort. Younger learners gain models of advanced thinking, vocabulary, and problem-solving, while older students deepen mastery by mentoring and teaching others. This structure reduces unhealthy comparison because progress is measured by readiness, not age, allowing students to move ahead or receive support naturally. Socially, it builds empathy, leadership, and confidence as students practice real collaboration across developmental levels. Academically, instruction becomes more individualized because teachers group students by skill and need instead of birth year. You acknowledge that the $25 application fee is non-refundable and will only be applied toward tuition for children accepted into the program for the 2026–2027 school year. Submission of an application and payment of the fee does not guarantee acceptance, enrollment, placement, scheduling preference, or continued availability of a seat.

Applications will remain on file for one (1) year unless you submit a written request for removal. If your child is not accepted at this time, you consent to being placed on the preferred waitlist and to being contacted if a seat becomes available. Ember Academy reserves the right to determine admission eligibility, placement, and enrollment at its sole discretion and in accordance with its policies and capacity limitations.
