1. Scope of Services
The Company provides leak detection services using acoustic, tracer gas, pressure testing and thermal imaging technologies. All services are diagnostic in nature only.
2. Client Responsibilities
The Client must:
- Provide safe, clear and unobstructed access to relevant areas
- Ensure plumbing systems are isolated or prepared as required
- Visually confirm findings prior to excavation
- Re-engage the Company if excavation alters site conditions
All excavation is undertaken at the Client’s risk.
3. Diagnostic Limitations
Leak detection accuracy is influenced by site conditions including soil composition, structural materials, environmental noise, pressure levels, multiple leaks and concealed pipework.
All results are indicative only and subject to interpretation.
4. Re-Attendance
If excavation or intrusive works occur without Company supervision or confirmation, the Company accepts no responsibility for the accuracy of the identified location.
Additional fees apply for repeat visits, re-testing or confirmation scans.
5. Access, Safety & Environmental Conditions
The Company may suspend or cease work where safety risks, excessive environmental noise, flooding, electrical interference or other site conditions prevent reliable detection.
6. Liability & Indemnity
To the extent permitted under the Australian Consumer Law:
Liability is limited to the re-supply of the services or the cost of re-supply.
The Company is not liable for:
- Excavation damage
- Missed, secondary or subsequent leaks
- Consequential, indirect or economic loss
- Actions of third-party contractors
The Client indemnifies the Company against all claims, loss or damage arising from excavation or intrusive works.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Payment & Acceptance
Engaging the Company constitutes acceptance of:
- The diagnostic limitations outlined above
- The Terms & Conditions in full
- Payment will be made in full
