    Pre-event - Wednesday 14th October

Volunteers are required to help with Rider Pack Collection located on the Western Oval, Margaret River (this role will take place inside the club rooms). If you enjoy customer service and like talking to the riders this is the role for you. Small team environment, from lunch time onwards, held Wedesnday the day before the event starts.

Running at the same time as regisration, there are also roles for assisting with the "Cape Kids" for Perth Children’s Hospital ride which takes place late afternoon when school finishes at the same oval. Following the kids event is the prologue race with some of the best MTB riders in Australia.

Volunteers are asked to help with directing riders around the track and stopping the public at crossing points while the kids and prologue takes place. A great way to watch both events and be a part of the action.

Event Days: Thursday 15th to Sunday 18th October

"General Site Helpers" roles range from bag drop and assisting in the help desk to supporting riders in recovery cutting up fruit. No experience is necessary, just a cheerful outlook, willingness to help riders and be a part of the Cape to Cape team. A fantastic way to support a friend or family member doing the event. Cheer for them at the start line and then see them when they cross the finish line. Site role locations depend on the event day.

"Course Marshals" must have experience with mountain bike events and understand how they work. Marshals will be in key locations around the course to help guide riders and communicate with event staff. Pre-event they must be able to attend course briefings with course managers.

All volunteers will receive a volunteer shirt, cap, and bag for helping on the day to keep. As well as water and snacks for each volunteer shift.

** Please note volunteers must be able to make their own way to volunteering so when selecting options below please take this into consideration as each day is in a different location.
