Entry deadline - Noon 9th April 2026

Membership must be valid on the entry closing date or they will be unable to compete, please only enter those with valid membership.

Please note the eligibility notes for each competition and ensure entered competitors read the rules before entry so they know what they are being singed up for.

It will be assumed that the top 2 qualifying competitors/ teams will be competing at Field Day (13th June, TD15 2XQ) unless County Office is notified otherwise at least one week before the Field Day closing date (5th June)

Farm Machinery Skills

Please note the following:

• A team shall consist of four (4) members all of whom must be 28 years of age or under on 1 September 2025 and 16 or over on the 1 September 2025.
• Each club can enter 1 team.
• Members should work as a team to complete all tasks, planning their own time and duties.
• The rules are available on the LFYFC website and the LFYFC app.
• Task 1 and 2 - The competitor completing each of these tasks must have (and produce) a current UK driving licence with F entitlement.
• Task 3 - The competitor completing this task must have a certificate of competence for ATV's (EASI, City and Guilds, LANTRA).
• Task 4 - The team member in control of the first aid must hold a current first aid certificate issued by a recognised body and be within date.
• The team will need to appoint a foreman, but will be judges as a team.

Fence Erecting

Please note the following:

• A team will consist of 3 members who are 28 or under on the 1st September 2025.
• Each club can enter 1 team.
• Competitors will provide their own fencing materials.
• The rules are available on the LFYFC website and the LFYFC app.
• It is essential that all competitors read the Health and Safety Executive’s guidance paper concerning fencing (HSG 151)
  and note is taken of the safe working practices and protective clothing equipment that is recommended.

4x4 and Trailer Handling

Please note the following:

• A team will consist of 2 members who are between 18 and 28 years of age on the 1st September 2025.
• Each club can enter up tp 2 teams.
• One member will be male, one member will be female.
• Competitors must have (and produce) a valid uk driving licence.

Mini Digger Challenge

Please note the following:

• Competitors must be between 16 and 28 years of age on the 1st September 2025.
• Each club can enter up to 2 competitors.
• The digger will remain stationary and only the boom arm will be operated.

Open Pallet Challenge

Please note the following:

• Competitors must be between 16 and 28 years of age on the 1st September 2025.
