Post-Secondary Students, Faculty, and Third Parties
- WHCC provides practical training by providing placements for students in Early Learning and Child Care programs. Students are not left unsupervised. All students are required to have a Criminal Record check
- Practicum students may use digital photography, video, audio and observational recordings to fulfill course requirements. All identifiable samples of children's work, images and/or recordings will remain on the premises and the property of WHCC
- WHCC may invite third-party providers to coach and consult with the WHCC team regarding educational, behavioural, and early childhood issues, as well as information, research, and strategies. Such third parties may observe and interact with the Child for those purposes. WHCC will notify parents about a third-party provider's attendance and seek your consent when specific services are contemplated for the Child
Privacy Policy
I consent to the disclosure of the collected information to Kwiksol Corporation for the management of the software KinderLogix on behalf of WHCC. I understand that Kwiksol Corporation will not disclose such personal information without my consent, except as required or permitted by law.
I consent to the disclosure of the collected information to the Government of Alberta for the purpose of delivering child care services, processing Grant funding, and reporting illness outbreaks.
I understand that registration information will be made available to WHCC staff, in part or in whole, to ensure the effective implementation of the program.
Limitation of Liability
WHCC agrees to use reasonable care and diligence in caring for all children and their personal effects. WHCC shall not be liable for any loss of or damage to clothing or other effects of the children, nor for any accident, sickness or disease that may occur to any child while in the care of WHCC, except in the case where such loss or damage is caused exclusively by the gross negligence of WHCC or its staff.
Conflict Resolution
- WHCC is committed to providing a caring and supportive environment for all children and their families. The Parent/Guardian is encouraged to discuss any questions or concerns about the Child's program or WHCC's procedures with WHCC staff
- If a conflict arises, a meeting may be arranged between the Parent/Guardian and WHCC staff to define the issues, state points of view and identify solutions. The Parent/Guardian and WHCC will make all reasonable attempts to resolve the conflict
- When reasonable attempts to solve the problem have failed, WHCC may require the Parent/Guardian to make other arrangements for the Child's care and terminate this Agreement according to the Cancellation of Agreement
Cancellation of Agreement and Withdrawal
- WHCC reserves the right to cancel this Agreement at any time it deems advisable, with notice
- If the Parent/Guardian wishes to withdraw from WHCC, the Parent/Guardian shall provide 30 days written notice to the Executive Director. Fees must be paid in full during these 30 days
