    All convention attendees must complete this registration form to attend the Northeast Region, District 1 (NE-1) Convention.

  • Convention Details:

    The NE-1 convention is being hosted by the Theta Eta Chapter at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, on Saturday, April 18th, 2026.

    The registration fee is $50 per attendee.  Attendees may self-pay through this registration form or a chapter may be invoiced for multiple students registering to attend.  

    A TriBeta convention t-shirt and travel tumbler are available for pre-order to ensure availability. Limited quantities may be available for purchase on-site, but pre-ordering is strongly encouraged. The t-shirt and tumbler are $10 each.  These can be added to your registration on the check-out page.  Items will be distributed to attendees at check-in at the convention registration table.

    Based on your convention role selected, please answer the following questions about your participation at the convention.

  • Presentation Participation:

    Students are encouraged to attend the convention whether or not they are presenting. The questions below apply only to students who will be presenting research and help us plan presentation sessions, judging, and program materials.

    To help with program formatting, please provide the following information for your abstract. Please note, if co-presenting research, only one presenter should upload the abstract. Each co-presenter will include the full title of the research abstract to aide in correct pairing of co-presenters.

  • Judging Participation:

    Faculty judges play a vital role in both evaluating undergraduate research and supporting student presenters. The following questions help us assign judges fairly, avoid conflicts of interest, and, whenever possible, schedule advisors so they may attend their students’ presentations. An evaluation rubric is provided.

  • Health and Safety

    Please provide convention organizers information regarding any allergies, medical conditions, dietary restrictions, special accommodation or accessibility needs, and your emergency contact information.

  • Registration Payment

    Chapters may pay for the registration fee for their student members to attend the convention. An invoice can be generated upon request. Payment can be made online via credit card or with a check on the day of the convention. All other attendees must pay for their registration at time of submission via credit card.

  • All convention registration fees will be processed through a secure site used by the host institution, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
