Youth Art Month is a collaborative celebration with Tift County Schools featuring hands-on art experiences designed for guardians and children to create together. Through this partnership, three guided art opportunities are offered free of charge to Tift County School students and their accompanying adult.
Families may register for one, two, or all three programs, but class space is limited and filled on a first-come basis. All events will be hosted at The Syd Blackmarr Arts Center (255 Love Ave) and require every child to have a guardian.
The art projects on March 3rd and 19th require advance registration due to capacity limits. The Collaborative Art Piece is a flexible drop-in activity, so registration is not required.
In addition to the programs, families are invited to visit the “Who Are You” Student Art Exhibit, open to the public free of charge. The exhibit will be open to the public March 7–13 from 12:00–6:00 PM. Lastly we encourage you to attend the Opening Reception on March 8 from 3:00–5:00 PM to celebrate Tift County School's student artists.

*NOTE: By registering your family, you grant Tifton Council for the Arts permission to thoughtfully use photos and video of your child for social media and marketing purposes.
